How Mechelen, Leuven, Antwerp and Brussels are served is set out in the overview of where delivery and shipping apply.

How a delivery is arranged

Personal delivery happens on a day agreed with you, not in a slot between eight and six.

  1. You choose delivery in your quote

The quote states how your order reaches you and what that costs.

  2. Your print is made

A standard print is ready 3 to 5 working days after your approval.

  3. A day is agreed

As soon as the print is ready, you get a message to settle a day and a time for the delivery.

  4. The parcel comes to your door

At home or at your business. The parcel travels on a car seat instead of a sorting belt, which for fragile pieces is no small detail.

Shipping within Belgium

Yannic Fréson 3D ships throughout Belgium, to a carrier's pickup point or parcel locker or to your home. The rate depends on the delivery method and the weight of the parcel and is in the table at the top of this page. The order leaves as soon as the print is ready, 3 to 5 working days after your approval.

A carrier's pickup point is the cheapest choice and handy if you are not at home during the day. The shipping cost is listed separately on your quote, next to the price of the print. The carrier's transit time comes on top of the lead time of the print.

Shipping to the Netherlands and the EU

Yannic Fréson 3D ships to the Netherlands and to other countries of the European Union. For the Netherlands, France, Germany and Luxembourg there are fixed rates for parcels up to 2 kg, listed in the table at the top. For other EU countries and heavier parcels, the shipping cost is worked out for you in the quote.

For customers outside Belgium nothing else changes: the same prices, the same quote, the same printer. The parcel just spends a little longer on the road.

How to send a broken part or sample

A broken part or a sample reaches Yannic Fréson 3D in one of three ways. Photos with a ruler in shot and the main measurements are often enough. You can also send the part by post. In the municipalities with personal delivery, it is collected from your door by appointment.

For a simple part, photos and measurements will do. For a part that has to fit closely, such as a clip or a gear, having the original in hand is more reliable. You send it to a carrier's parcel point or parcel locker; you get the details by email. How to measure a part is on the page about replacement parts.

How a print is packed

Yannic Fréson 3D ships every print in a sturdy cardboard box with padding around the part. Thin and protruding sections get extra protection. A part of 256 × 256 × 256 mm, the largest the printer makes in one go, still fits in a standard parcel for a carrier's pickup point or parcel locker.

A 3D print is light and tougher than it looks, but thin pins and long protrusions remain vulnerable.

Custom work and the terms

A print is made to order and to your specifications, so the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply. What applies to shipping and to a print that is not right is in the terms and conditions.
